WP: Verandas de San Vicente: DBS (01.15.2017)

Food came a bit late (a few minutes after 11pm). Probably to save cost, we realized too late that they serve different plates of food for both Reagan and I. The sampler is just OK but didn't provide too much of an impression. Also it's something to note that we came there the earliest but probably served the last :-(. We weren't even able to wait for the dessert they prepared which was served as soon as we stood up to leave.

They do have an irresistable 99k package. If you're strapped for cash you'd only need rings and clothes and possibly trim your guest list to just 98 people (that's minus you and the groom). There are 3 sets of food you can choose from as well, but really limited to just 3 mains. What's also nice with their packages is that you are free to remove an inclusion (let's say you don't like the HMUA) and deduct it from your overall cost.

They only have one venue which had two things that bothered me a lot. First, the stairs. Granted that it's just two floors but old people might have an issue on the inconvenience. Also as I've been reading a lot online some caterers do charge a fee when there's not an elevator to haul up their catering materials. For weddings like this we could at least lessen unnecessary fees that other venues won't be needing.

Second issue is how the layout was done. There's this wall that you can't possibly remove and a section that is obstructed by the glass panels of the stairs. Granted that you can still see, it's just that I imagine myself as a guest and I won't certainly liked to be seated there. HOWEVER, if you have lesser guests (we're aiming for 200), this is absolutely perfect. The ceilings are OK and the white paint and glass windows made it look classy and airy. Aircon works perfect too.
And oh, I forgot to check what the CR looks like :-(

High ceilings, tall windows, a simple altar and a unique chair layout. From the looks of the benches, it's well kept. Again, stairs, BUT I imagine this would look good on photo when the bride is about to enter the door. Rates range from 15k up. We haven't gotten into detail on what entails but the priest and flowers are already included. Really tempting. They are also void of vendors in and out of the parking in front of the church.

Overall, the impression is really good. Especially the church. The venue not so much. I am not quite sold to the venue since it looked so small IMHO. That is unless we trim down guests to 150 or even less. Next month we plan to go to their Antipolo venue that so happens to have a bridal fair. Hopefully I fall in love with the place!
