WP: Gazebo Royale: Hizon's (01.15.2017)

+ Hizons +

They are not joking about grand. The food beats the food tasting we've done so far (just with other 3 anyway). Initially we doubted the quantity on the check list at our table but then there it is, they have multiples of everything! They first serve you appetizers and then they let you roam around their tables for mains, pasta and desserts.

Their AEs also come and go, discussing details that will eventually lead up to the price as you finish your dessert. By this time I wonder how anyone can stay alert being full with all the food served!

Unlike most FT we've been, Hizon's AE is quite persistent in making us book on the spot. On a different day we would have gave in but with our financial current status, it prohibits us from committing to anything. I know we can afford them but not DP levels yet.

Situated along the hi-way, this is easier to find than the previous venues we've been. It's also not as grand when you first walk in but going past the parking, you'd realize how you've been so wrong.

If correct I think I was only able to see two venues, Champange and Bamboo Grove which are right next to each other. Champange is the chosen venue for the Grand Food Tasting Event of Hizon's and it was really huge. The ceilings are high and having plants as back drop are a sight to behold. And even though it's a non aircon venue, it is breezy. It's also impossible to feel cramped at this huge space.

Another good to mention PRO for this event is a pretty CR. I would have taken a photo but there was another person inside but take it from me, it's impressive.

It does look like a good combination Hizons-Gazebo Royale and I'd put a mental note on this. So far they are on the top of my list.
