Obviously this has not missed my radar. The first time I have heard of it I immediately followed their PH page and made them appear first on my feed.   When I was younger, I have applied for a Citibank credit card. I know I am trusty when it comes to finances but for reasons only Citibank knows I haven't had any feedback from them. Since then I am always scared when it comes to applying for things that involve background checks on financial capabilities. Luckily for me I didn't have to apply for a credit card and my home loan was easily granted. But I didn't forget that Citibank thing I am led to believe I will have the same fate of rejection when we applied for a Japan Visa. I am a sucker for those who go up the bus and ask for money. I don't give to religious groups though (Except for one. Years later I still remember that guy who deemed sincere in quick gospel. I mean the bus started tinkling with coins) and rare times even to beggars on the street (Rarely to those at the overpass and never again to that one who snubbed her nose up on me DISGUSTED EVEN when I gave her good food). I don't know what has possessed me to check out HMR again only this time, ONLINE. They have an app (browser works just as fine) that allows you to bid for items with the exception of meeting your competition and that last for a few days. I was only browsing until I saw lots that made me eventually bid. Funko Pops! Who knew they have these too! There are 7 items which I have all the intention to buy and resell that's why I was intent in getting it all even the crocodile one which I've no idea from where. My boss told me about the event for today and was really excited in going because of the free workshops! My sisters and I registered as soon as able. We arrived around a few minutes after 11 (official start time) and the line had already snaked to the whole block. What added to the feat is how hot it was. The only consolation is the line is actually moving. Initially we wanted to go straight to the workshops but unfortunately we have no idea that there were separate online registrations for it so we weren't allowed to participate. We roamed around instead, and participated on a few activities we can join in but not enough to be able to qualify for loot bag redemption. My passport is not yet due but I have a few plans in my head that involved me getting a new one before we go on our next travel. I've been reading the same site about the requirements of securing an ID and 3 documents. I have no problems with IDs but documents I do. I only have a birth certificate and I cannot afford the time it would take for me to get a Barangay, NBI and police clearances. I asked around and got a good answer from a neighbor who just got hers renewed. Truly enough it's the same set I was asked: 1 Government ID (+ photocopy. It seems like they preferred my SSS over my driver's) 1 Document (NSO birth certificate (and photocopy) BUT this is just to ensure that if I was asked a document I came prepared. How We Got There: From the condo, we got ourselves a tricycle (same if you're coming from Robinsons Pioneer), got off at Williams St. (Bayanihan compound) and walked towards Kapitolyo entrance (Jollibee). KFEST5----------------- I rarely attend events now where I have to rub a lot of elbows but after a good enough pleading I have gone with my sisters to a Kpop event I don't follow any of it so I have no idea what to expect. We got there I think almost around lunch time. The line was reminiscent of the ones we had at the LG sale , only this time, THEY WERE ACTUALLY LETTING US IN! We almost missed the very ground floor, just a step or two away but after being judgmental on the people on the queue we were finally in. (Tickets were 190 pesos). There's not a lot of places to go to Tagaytay and it's a shame that even if we live in Cavite, we haven't been to Sky Ranch since it opened. So on one Sunday (I drove most of the way) we went there without actual plans. View inside the Sky Eye Entrance Fee is supposed to be 100 pesos but we got a discount for 50 pesos each. Little did I know that everything is just extremely expensive inside. Most of the rides are 150 each!! Imagine if you have tons of kids! I don't have a liking for rides anymore but I've wanted to experience their so called Sky Eye which rivals the one at MoA. After which I've decided that MoA Eye is more worth the money than this Sky Eye. Not only is it so narrow inside but there's this huge pole in the middle that it's impossible to sit more than 4 average people. (pun truly intended!) In my bucket list is one day experience driving a car and owning one for that matter. Being able to drive is a life skill that opens up too many experiences that is too tempting to resist. But before all the opportunities driving has to offer, there are steps we must do to even become a real driver. Here's our full adventure report: Step 1: Get a Student Driver's License Step 2: Enroll for a Driving Class Before we even apply, we asked around which school we should go. My father insisted that we go to A1 (he studied there) while another office mate who studied earlier recommended us to SMART. I've no idea how we decided that that's the school we should go, but I guess our choice was okay. My office mate and I decided to enroll for 10 hrs of class (around 5k) and they added us an hour free each. This is it! I've finally initiated to get a Student Driver's License after a long long long time of procrastinating. We decided to do it on a Friday, on our lunch time. Here's the steps we undertook: 1. At Window 1 we asked for a form to be filled up. 2. Our filled forms are passed to Window 1. I mistook signing on the bottom left part of the form to which (luckily) the guy at the counter was in good mood to simply white corrected the error and didn't get cross. I think the smiling worked because he was half serious half smiley at me telling me to stop being giggly on apologizing and not mess up again. 3. Window 2 called us and incriminated what we wrote, to the conversion of our height and weight, up to our addresses. Again, another mishap, I wrote the Street of our house first before the numbers. After IM3, we thought we'd finally do a midnight banchetto. After all, we're already up for food trip again (our Ihop trauma have somewhat subsided). The nearest is Midnite Mercato at BGC. When we arrived, there place isn't as crowded as expected although humidity is intense on the tents where they sell the food. Tip: Long hair? Bring a scrunchie for your own sake. We scouted around first, looking for the best food to order. Our first pick was burgers. I personally prefer burgers over pizza any day. It does look unkempt, and eating it is such a mess, but it was a very good choice for us. I loved the patty, the bread and peanut butter sauce. Reminds me of PB Co burgers , although to be fair I enjoyed this more because the patty is so meaty.
