After months of rendering OTs, I finally called it quits. Dealing with everyday stress feels too much and the knowledge of not travelling on my birthday this year makes me want to atleast take a mini break. At my planning stage bf wasn't going to join me, originally he was just going to visit me on a Saturday. First thing I did after turning off the A/C! (Oh hey I have too much time to even add a watermark!) Like I said earlier, our breakfast at Destination Hotel WAS AMAZING. It wasn't your typical silog. One good thing about this not bringing a car thing is we've learned where the terminal is. This is the only starting point we needed to remember since all of the jeeps know where it is. The jeep's signboard has People's Park on it (it's the last stop too) which helped us get to the Park and Picnic Grove the next day. + People's Park (In the Sky) + Entrance - 30 each | Fare - 17 each It's an hour before 5pm (our target for leaving in fear that we might not have any ride home) but visitors are still aplenty. It's a bit funny that in my entire years of living in Cavite I haven't fully explored Tagaytay, let alone go there with the boyfriend. The first and last time we've been together were when we went to a wedding of a friend of mine. I've already missed going somewhere during the long weekend last Holy Week, and I don't want to get another long weekend alone so we planned a quick one at the nearest one we could go to without much preparation. We got one nearest to Ina ng Laging Saklolo (Tagaytay) , which is the church of the wedding we're attending. They didn't ask us for any deposit but have considered our reservation anyway. They even had a guy who waited for us when we arrived 1am and more than happy to direct us to our room. My very first impression when we got the place was how fragrant it is. It smelled really clean. Granted, there's not much stuff on the the room, but it had the basics. And look, 4 pillows. Whaaat! The bath is also clean, they even have a bidet and a working heater at the shower! They only provide soap as toiletries, but then again we don't have any issues on baggage allowances here so we brought everything we needed. There's not a lot of places to go to Tagaytay and it's a shame that even if we live in Cavite, we haven't been to Sky Ranch since it opened. So on one Sunday (I drove most of the way) we went there without actual plans. View inside the Sky Eye Entrance Fee is supposed to be 100 pesos but we got a discount for 50 pesos each. Little did I know that everything is just extremely expensive inside. Most of the rides are 150 each!! Imagine if you have tons of kids! I don't have a liking for rides anymore but I've wanted to experience their so called Sky Eye which rivals the one at MoA. After which I've decided that MoA Eye is more worth the money than this Sky Eye. Not only is it so narrow inside but there's this huge pole in the middle that it's impossible to sit more than 4 average people.
