My laptop  had recently decided to not turn on anymore and I'm panicking over my tax filing by November. I just bought my new camera weeks back and honestly I shouldn't even had considered buying it if it weren't for the swap promo of Power Mac Center. When we had our trip last August, I was utterly shocked when my old Canon camera started acting up. I didn't get to use it for the days we were at HK, which was truly unfortunate because I would really love that I could use my camera in taking photos. After a year of thinking about it, I have now jumped the gun and bought a unit. I was supposed to get the cheaper one but even without any pitch from the sales guy I was immediately convinced with 2 things: I get two software copies and when not charging, it could be used wireless! Installation is a breeze, I just needed to connect the device and it automatically installs the needed drivers. But then it ends there. I wanted to get the promised free software immediately so I attempted to get them, but first I need to register the device which is after I sign up for a new account.  Here's the thing, their website is inherently terrible. I have extremely gone overboard with this purchase but does it really live up to the hype all of the countless videos I have watched? Here's what I've experienced so far. So What's in the box? Two days before our Japan flight my phone started to suddenly turn off. What's worse is it won't connect to wifi or data at all. A day of this and I decided to buy a phone a day before our trip. After more than 7 years of being with my trusty Asus K42J I have now bought a new laptop-- an Asus X540! And even though it wasn't a flagship gadget, boy, what an upgrade! + The Backstory + (If you're not a fan of my endless ramblings go skip to the actual review part) It's been months of me planning to get myself a new laptop but I don't have the heart to do so. Urban Adventures: Switching to Touchscreen (An LG Optimus One Review) It's now days since I own an LG Optimus one.
