  Dec 31, 2021 I was cleaning the whole day because as it is, Reagan and I are moving my things from the condo to our house every week. Most often everything is just placed wherever and since most of my stuff are already dusty, it has accumulated so much in the house. The next day we're planning to host a simple lunch with both our families since the group has not met again ever since the wedding. It's also an opportune time to show the house to both of them since only Reagan and I have ever been inside (other than the people we got in renovating the kitchen and the handymen who fixed stuff here and there).  Obviously I haven't cleaned EVERYTHING but I done a bit on the kitchen, a few stuff moved about in the living room and mostly prepped the play room and dining since both would be where I expect us be staying the most. I'm just hoping we didn't get a Covid Freebie. Reservations are a must for going to IKEA. We've booked on the 3rd day of it's opening 11/28/2021 at 10 AM. We arrived there with no fuss, there was no line yet. We parked on the ground floor (it's paid parking! we've parked there around 8AM and left at 2PM = 90 PHP) and we've tried to park very near the entrance.  We have not eaten yet so decided to find somewhere to eat. As of this writing we have been staying in our new house for 2 weeks now and you could say that it is a bit of an adjustment especially for a house that lacks a lot of the stuff I am used to having back in my condo (heater, ac) plus the things we only found out that are kind of wrong with it. For example I never noticed there wasn't a faucet in the tiny sink in the bath. Or how the stupid seat and cover of the toilet kept on closing even while you're seating. Or how, despite of paying for it, we're stuck with useless kitchen cabinets without partitions. Again, valuable lessons I wouldn't forget if we ever get the chance to get a new house. Aside from those, obviously we don't have much stuff yet. We bought foldable beds from SnR so we have somewhere to sleep on; a plastic table, my ottomans and two office chairs as temporary office stations which also serve as our dining area. We're now officially married! Last Monday, June 14 we've went to the Las Pinas City hall and we've finally tied the knot via an intimate ceremony in front of a judge. When we said intimate, it's just us really, a judge and two witnesses who are the judge's staff. We could have gone without any witness at all but since it's required to have them, we decided to get the people there instead of having any of our family members to limit the contact with other people. It has been 2 months and a few weeks of owning CC. As of writing I've been on so many weekends of training and practicing with Reagan. This also marks the 2nd day of me driving CC around on my own to and from my place to EDSA Shang and Megamall respectively and I feel like even though I still have the jitters on the road, I think I'm getting the hang of it. Because I have a Part 2, it just means that my loan application has been approved yay! No need to do an in house financing! + What a busy day + I've waited until the 3rd day to inquire if I was approved. I don't know if me asking how's the status or it just happened at the same time, but I've received an email which was also dated the day before. For now my bank is ready to release a PO (is this purchase order? I forgot to ask, but that is what they call it) to the dealer. But there's a problem. Agent is offering me a different model to which at that time wasn't a viable idea for me because if that's the case then might as well get a 1.3 Vios right? Being so near the office made it useless for me to own a car. I can either use the bus or MRT or a 30min. walk, which I am honestly OK with. But COVID made me anxious on taking public vehicles which made my mobility extremely hindered. Reagan do have a car but I thought maybe it's time for me to (truly) learn a new skill, and be able to drive without a guide. After all I have extra money to spare to afford a monthly amortization.
