The Script: Freedom Child Tour (4.14.2018)

(I feel like I'm making a mess of my timelines. I still have a lot of blogs (Bataan and Lion King to name a few) left unwritten and I'm writing this first out of everything!) I still remembered that day. I've just wiped out all of the remaining credit card balances I had. Out of nowhere I suddenly thought of visiting philippineconcerts when I saw it. My heart stopped. No. Why didn't I heard of this earlier? Fast forward to yesterday. Ahh. This is the second time we've got seats on the elevated sides and hell yeah I am not going back. An experience 3 years ago with my favorite band will forever hurt me. It was the worst feeling I had of all the times I've been to the concert of The Script  (for the opening at least, the rest of the night was superb) and I just don't want to waste money on that anymore, nor at any concert I will attend to the future come.  Now two things:  1. I was able to enjoy Paint the Town Green with 0 ha...

TME: The Script: For the First Time (4.16.11)

For the first time I've paid for a concert. For the first time I set foot on the actual Araneta coliseum. For the first time I've seen a celebrity (-ies) I'm s o fond of. All because of The Script. I've only heard of the concert weeks before I've already set my budget for another concert I wanted to give as a gift to someone special (hihi!) so I was a bit disappointed to not have anticipated such expense and missed buying patron seats. I would have but I felt rushed on buying one ASAP so I bought what I can afford that time: Thank you whoever SM girl you are who informed me of a better seat (middle) Fast forward to April 16, since the concert was not until 8pm, we set the day to get ourselves busy before the big night. I won't elaborate it here. but to make it short, we were in Megamall that time when we decided to finally go to our last pit stop of the day. A quarter before 7 we were already in the MRT Ortigas Station but we were kind of stuck. All the trains t...

Paint the town green w/ The Script (04.17.2015)

Days before I have told Reagan that I would wear green to the concert because one of their songs highlighted the said color. He teased me that the song I thought of would not be played so I looked for the setlist and learned that the first song, as I've predicted would be Paint the Town Green. We came there just in time when Silent Sanctuary was over (we had an abominable dinner earlier upstairs) and a few minutes before poles of green cloth appeared by the cockpit entrance. It's apt since the song really does sound Irish in so many levels, I could only be more excited! But then it was ruined when the band came in, everyone started standing on their seats blocking my view and everyone else's who didn't follow suit. Reagan insisted that I do the same but I couldn't... I don't have the heart to put my dirty shoes on the soft seats. I tried for a minute but it seemed so wrong. I took the attention of the girl in front of me, and she did look, but never budg...

Concert: The Script: My Lucky Break (March 31 2013)

The Road to... For the past weeks I have already accepted that I won't see them once more because the time I decided to buy a ticket, not a single one was available. For days I couldn't bear listening to them as it pains me so bad. But one night, when I went home early, Reagan gave me a tip that they were now selling tickets again!! Hastily, without questions asked, I bought the best seats I could ever get. Phew! The Day... Fresh from our Sagada Road trip, I still have enough energy and was really excited that after all this time I was still able to go. We arrived there around 8 and you got to believe that the place is sold out by the line outside! And when we got in, what do you know, this is more than last time we've been there and it's so overwhelming. There's no front act again, in much favor to me because we still have time to eat our dinner (burgers) and prepare for a whole night of standing. A few minutes before 9 the lights are dimm...
