Bag Review: Doughnut

Image
Woah woah woah! As I've recently said in the notes of the blog before this, I did stop bringing bags in the office BUT, I found this gem right before I started the practice. I've been using it as much as I can prior and love it when we were travelling* and even on weekdays when I go out. So not that that's out of the way, here it is: I think it's serendipity but my wallet says, are you serious? So I was just strolling at Megamall on an OT weekend and thought hey must work these legs as I've been sitting for a long time already.  There are three pockets outside, one in the middle and two at the side, possibly for umbrellas and a water bottle. Inside there's mirrored pockets on the side also, which I often put my phone and a powerbank. On the flap side of the bag, there's layers of pockets for the small things you want organized. I keep cables, cards, floss, small wallets, lipstick, etc on it. My most favorite pocket would hav...

Gadget Review: Ipad Pro

Image
I just bought my new camera weeks back and honestly I shouldn't even had considered buying it if it weren't for the swap promo of Power Mac Center. See I have this old Ipad which I don't use anymore due to it not updating to the latest software and it's been months and months of me salivating over Procreate in my YT feed and thought why the hell not.  Swapity Swap Unfortunately in my first attempt to visit, there weren't any of the Ipads available but I've already gone to the process of swapping and I don't want to go home with it again. It's supposed to be valued at 5k BUT my good sister gave it back to me with the speakers not working anymore. Which is why at the end it was only valued around 1500 I think which I had to use ON THE DAY to buy the Apple Pencil bringing back the price a bit lower. Reagan's teasing me that my smile should be bigger the next day when I eventually get home with the Ipad. For now I go home with the new...

Gadget Review: FujiFilm XT100

Image
When we had our trip last August, I was utterly shocked when my old Canon camera started acting up. I didn't get to use it for the days we were at HK, which was truly unfortunate because I would really love that I could use my camera in taking photos. Hence when we came back, I thought maybe it's time for me to get a new camera! I really love the vintage looks of Fujifilm and I would like to try a different brand this time. When I was scouring the net I ended up liking the XT100. Unboxing I haven't had a camera for a long time so I'm stoked with all the features it has. It can send through wifi, which means I don't have to transfer photos manually to laptop or to phone when my SD card is full. When we went to Japan I took so many photos that thank goodness the bf had the foresight to bring a card reader and an adaptor so I could put some in my phone in our downtime to free space. The only downside with this is at times it's hard to contro...

Chinatown Museum

Image
I love museums! I could not believe there are still museums in the metro I have not visited yet, and this is an easy one for a lazy afternoon. There's not much people when we went which gave us more time to roam around as well.  If you wish to visit, Chinatown Museum is conveniently situated inside the Lucky Chinatown Mall at Binondo, Manila. I am not sure if it's there forever (as long as the mall stands anyway) but I do hope it is. The museum is thoughtfully designed. It tells a story as you move along, an immersion of sorts when you walk from one space to another. The props are outstanding and very much detailed and the layout is excellent. There is no crowding of pieces nor were there areas that looked neglected. The museum not only holds antiques, there are also displays that celebrate the Chinoy culture, from bakeries to calligraphy stores to Chinese food and  school. The cohesion of the displays promote the feeling that you're actually walk...
