The Hayden Kho Chronicles

I wasn't about write my thoughts on this issue anymore because this was supposed to be written two weeks ago, same time when Adam Lambert lost to Kris Allen and would have had a title 'What they lost this week'. But same old problem again of me not being able to juggle time between sleep, work, stalling, tv, frustrations on Cinema Tycoon 2 (which has in my own opinion would not have passed if I was the SA of that game, that is if that's what you call on game projects) and more sleep. But this certain issue has hogged offices, tv, and even thru quotes whoever in this country haven't heard of that scandal must be living under a rock at the deepest trenches of our oceans. As i've told multiple times, the office downstairs has a ratio of 5 males:2 females (the other female is older than the rest of us and has kids. also before there where 6 men). Need I add still unmarried testosterone filled-men who secretly exchange porno (literally) at my back. Well at some times...

Dan In Real Life (5.24.9)

Image
Rating: ★★★ Category: Movies Genre: Romantic Comedy P2, Dan, P2, Dan. Obviously I'd choose Dan (I think this was on HBO, Star Movies had P2). As much as I enjoy murder films, I just can't get the hang of watching slasher films or anything that ignites pathos, I’m more interested in the murder mystery type or just those that are on the killer’s side. I just can’t take too much adrenaline rush. Another reason I’ve seen Dan is obviously because of Carell. I never would have thought that this was a romantic movie (I’m a bit allergic) but I stayed anyway because it wasn’t hardcore ‘I-love-you-forever-and-ever’ type of story. What was interesting was that I kind of relate to the character he portrays, someone reserved and unpopular. I don’t even need to mention that he’s a writer. It wasn’t exactly the cheesy type of film you’d reminisce over and over with your beloved but it was some issue I don’t know if I was in the situation I don’t know if I can live with. Ending...

Angels and Demons (5.15.9)

Image
Rating: ★★★ Category: Movies Genre: Mystery & Suspense I wasn’t (again) supposed to watch this if it weren’t for the listing of the nearest mall from our house that had Star Trek for just a week. It’s either they think it’s not worth having it on their cinemas or they think X-Men Origins was any better (I think they had it for around 3 weeks. They are so biased). I was going to watch it anyway but my dream of seeing Zachary Quinto play Mr. Spock was something I’ve been talking about for weeks already. So everyone must realize how disappointed I was of not being able to see it on the big screen. The only reason I wanted to watch this after they’ve spoiled the prequel/sequel of one of my favourite books of all time (Da Vinci Code) was because of seeing CERN, the inside of the Vatican and most especially the high-tech archives mentioned in the book. I was disappointed how quick they’ve shown CERN (they even shown LHC which have been published on numerous photos on magazines a...

Komikon Summer Festival 2009 (5.16.9)

For years of not being able to join Komikon, here we are back again (now I’m on the group as the Editor with nothing to do) to sell the reissue (if there was any word like that) of the first one! Some of you maybe on the acknowledgements part. If we converse often you’re probably there. I’m just too lazy to add a snapshot of it... My peers came late (need I say again? This must probably my karma for being late on Shizen) again. By the time we came at UP (for the first time on a cab) there was a long file of people, thank goodness they haven’t started. Good thing participants don’t need to be on that line (yey!) but I was disappointed we won’t be getting any loot bag. We are paying the same after all plus aren’t the Indie groups the entire purpose of this event? We chose (well the marshals haven’t told us if we were in any other place) but that was the only table not taken anyway so we sat and started collating (as usual). Not only were we late but we are also not ready to sell yet. As ...

Accidents, Fatigue and the 9pm Routine (5.10.9 - 5.15.9)

I haven't written a week-long blog for a long time due to my endless time management problems. But this week had so much to be written I have to have a blog for it. I even finished this one before the shopping blog because I really can't contain what happen on this day (today's Thursday, 5.14) Wardrobe Malfunction ? --------------------------------------------- Tuesday I was late for office. And because I was racing for time, I wore the very first things I could get my hands on - a lacey spaghetti-strapped blouse underneath another white blouse. I have unbuttoned two at the top because it just won't properly close  on the chest area. It showed cleavage but as much as I've seen it on the mirror it looked ok, like it wasn't really that 'out' so I just went out with it. In the office none of my male officemates reacted so I thought it was ok. Later on, Boss Mil went to our place and saw my outfit and said my 'bra' is peeping. I said it wasn'...
