Glass (2019)

Coming off from the Split sequel we are now on the *hopefully* final conclusion to the Unbreakable sequel. Both predecessors have done very well on it's own right and made viewers hyped when it was revealed that they were all set on the same universe. On the onset we already expect that Bruce will be the hero among the two villains so the movie had to focus on him but instead we would rarely see our caped vigilante. The movie's spotlight is on the superb acting of James Mccavoy as The Hoarde and maybe a few bits here and there for our titular character, Mr. Glass/Elijah Price who got all of them signature twists Shyamalan is known for, the ones where we don't gasp anymore. 

We also get a lot of screentime with our supporting actors one of each for our superhumans. Yes even our supposed villains. Expect none of your traditional comic scenarios, there would be no team up of misfits nor a champion beating all odds. The ending reminded me so much of Cabin in the Woods where a bigger story is partially unveiled that until the last credits roll you are left on your own imagination to theorize. Glass is an unconventional comic book movie where it teeters on it's viewer's ability to cope with something unexpected. You'd either be left unfulfilled or just enough to accept what you've seen. As for me I'm lukewarm towards it but absolutely glad it's over.

As of writing, our application for a license is now on the way. We were able to do everything in one day with not much hassle but it took some hours to finish since we started the process. It's a bit different than before but man, I love that we didn't have to take a leave on another day (other than getting the license obviously).  Requirements 1. CENOMAR -PSA copy, 210 PHP at SM Business Center; will take almost 2 weeks 2. Birth Certificate - PS copy, 155 PHP at SM Business Center; will take a week 3. Government IDs with Mandaluyong address. Old bills, minimum 6 months prior can be submitted as well in lieu. I prepared 3 bills for this, Meralco, Globe and Assoc Dues and the processor only got the Meralco one (photocopy). I don't have IDs with Mandaluyong address but bothered to photocopy my other government IDs bearing our Cavite address and my condo's IDs but those weren't accepted.  4.
