Whenever we book hotels/inns, other than the price, location is very much important. We got one nearest to Ina ng Laging Saklolo (Tagaytay) , which is the church of the wedding we're attending. They didn't ask us for any deposit but have considered our reservation anyway. They even had a guy who waited for us when we arrived 1am and more than happy to direct us to our room.

My very first impression when we got the place was how fragrant it is. It smelled really clean. Granted, there's not much stuff on the the room, but it had the basics. And look, 4 pillows. Whaaat!

The bath is also clean, they even have a bidet and a working heater at the shower! They only provide soap as toiletries, but then again we don't have any issues on baggage allowances here so we brought everything we needed. The aircon works, the tv has cable and the place is peppered with sockets. Good for charging all the devices we have.

The next morning we got us breakfast from their menu (tapsilog, 120php). They let us eat on the hotel up front (the entire compound are different named hotels that are all owned by their family but managed by a different family member) where they have a pool and a half court.

We got the room on a 300 peso discount (1500php) even if we got the larger room. The owner, Ms. Ritchie even gave us our bottled waters for free on our breakfast which is rare among hotel owners. What's rarer is how she hugged me when I said we'd be checking out as soon as we're prepared for the wedding. She's really sweet.

To book, kindly text or call her at this number: 09192871597

This is very near Picnic Grove, also an Ina ng Laging Saklolo neighbor, and just along the highway. Don't be scared you won't find a lot of reviews for this hotel as it is fairly new. But trust me, Ms. Ritchie is really nice. You can search for 5R which is basically on the same compound (and owned by the same family). So next time you have tons of family members you would like to share an entire space for yourselves, get yourself a room or two here. It really feels like home.
