T&J Salon: Digiperm and Color Combo (3.28.2015)

Image
I've been a loyal Beauty Brick for so long now (well except for that unfortunate time when my friend and I went to this Ortigas salon for hair color we want to forget forever) that I was really skeptic in going to a new salon. An awfully near branch opened near my condo that convinced me to give it a try. They have an ongoing promo for their opening, a 50% off discount for specific packages. I got the Loreal package that consists of: PHP 1500 Rebond/Digiperm Haircut Keratin There's a lesser version of this but they said that Loreal has a much better effect so I just got that even though I went just because of that 800 peso package.  I was really expecting to be the first customer being early and all, so I was really surprised seeing a lot of women there already. I was even behind a group of three girls I should have overtaken but then I am quite sure I will not hear the end of it. When I was finally called, there were no violet robes available anymore s

Look what the cat dragged along!

Curiosity got the best of me the other day when I stumbled upon your name on a list of friends I was currently looking at. We are not friends online and I'm fine with that, not to be assumed as bitter or anything. We aren't even friends in real life anymore, that even though some of the people in my FB are people who I just add because I feel too rude to decline, But seeing your face in the roster piqued my interest. So there I was clicking your profile, not knowing what to expect. What do you know, you're already married! I was curious wanting to know when it was or who it was on the photo with you but didn't go as far as for me to actually knowing. I was just there sleepy, looking at your faces, looking for a familiar feeling. When I was done (probably took a minute for the surprise to sink in), I pressed back to my own homepage, only to realize that whatever feelings I expect is just not there anymore. No hate, no jealousy at all. All those years made me forget,

Yexel's Toy Museum Las Pinas (1.24.2015)

I heard of the toy museum just in time for my visit to Reagan's turf. It was very convenient too, because it is a stone's throw away from their house. If you so happen to look for it, it is just a walkable distance at the back of SM Southmall. You might catch a tricycle so you don't need to ask as well. You won't miss it too, just look at the facade: It's 300 entrance fee per head, I have no idea how it would fare for kids. Near the entrance you will be greeted by this family: Too bad the hair of Lisa was already broken.  We were told that some of the display were commissioned while some are bought. By that alone you will know why the entrance fee is quite expensive. The museum is a mix of toys in glass cabinets and those large toy store worthy displays that obviously are worth a fortune like this one: It would have been nice though if the displays are so far apart on their own genre and without this unsightly glass lines.
